The Appledore Crafts Company
Formed in 1991 by a group of North Devon designer-makers The Appledore Crafts Company is now one of the leading contemporary craft galleries in the South West.
It is based in the heart of the lively port of Appledore – a traditional fishing village with a thriving artistic community. The Company sell ceramics, wood, glass, metal, leather, textiles, baskets, furniture, studio pottery, painting, jewellery, photography, printmaking.
It is run as a co-operative venture staffed by a number of artists of which Sue is one of the 16 members. The shop also sells work by selected guest designers and holds an annual autumn exhibition featuring well-known local artists.
