Fused glass is an ancient art form. My pieces are a result of the merging of shapes and colours, the interplay of light and shadow and the use of extreme temperatures within the kiln.
Each piece of my fused glass art is a labour of love, taking days of inspiration and work, I personally design and fabricate every item, with the emphasis being on individuality rather than mass production. I make fused glass dishes, fused glass wall art, fused glass jewellery and other items some of which may include dichroic glass. All my handmade fused glass jewellery is unique.
My fused glass art is exhibited and displayed in three enterprising co-operative galleries in the beautiful North Devon surroundings.

Last week whilst in London, I visited the Royal Society of British Artists Annual Exhibition 2013 held at the Mall Galleries. I was particularly interested in viewing the work by pen and ink artist Sarah Woolfenden as she was exhibiting two pieces. More of her work can be found in the co-operative galleries in North Devon, www.14thegallery.co.uk and www.artcoopatg39.co.uk
Whilst at the Exhibition, I was fortunate to enjoy a talk about ‘sketchbooks’ by the renowned artists Nick Tidman and Alfred Daniels.
