Stage 1
I gathered together various blue green coloured glass 2mm thick pieces.









Stage 2
These glass pieces were cut into thin strips of variable lengths at about 3mm wide





Stage 3
After tracing a round shape onto the kiln paper on the kiln shelf, I then carefully laid the strips to make a pattern. It was important to cover each join with another small square of glass.











Stage 4
The two pieces were then fused in the kiln according to the schedule







Stage 5
The final stage is to to slump the piece into an appropriate mold
